Are we still here? Has all the technology in the world stopped functioning? Let's hope not. Recently, the media has been covering the computer virus known as Conflicker, which has potential to be the nastiest virus we've ever seen. The virus is thought to be currently infecting almost 10 million computers across the globe, opening up the possibility of a world-wide computer disaster . The bug had been found to receiving a message that simply said "Await further instructions on April 1" causing many to speculate that hackers would launch an attack of some sort on today's date.
The Conflicker virus essentially renders your computer helpless to the controls of the hackers, as it shuts down any and all attempts to run anti-virus protection software. Who knows, maybe this is the start of Skynet or something reminiscent of Eagle Eye (Yes, a corny film but the reference makes sense) . All I know is that I ran my NEW Microsoft anti-virus sweeper and came up virus free. Bout to take my laptop to the club like "Fuck wit ya boy, Im Conflicker Negative!"
