Swagstars...What it do? I'm back from hibernation people and it feels good to be back on the site sharing my ideas with like minded folk. Also hoop season is back and its going to be crazy. Now down to business. I got a simple but very controversial and crazy question...."WHAT IS A REAL N.I.G.G.A?" What defines someone as a Real Nigga?? How do you know a Real Nigga when you see one?? Now first off, I hope I don't offend folk by using the word. I have a very interesting story behind why I'm writing this blog.
A few weeks ago, I was debating with this cat about what makes someone more "down" than the the other. So, he stated "You not real. Your not a real nigga!!!" So i asked him, "What makes you more real than me?" He proceeded to tell me that since he grew up on the streets and he's from the hood and had sell dope and hustle to survive he was more "real" than I was. Now for the folk who know me, they know that I'm not from the streets at all. A lot of my boys grew up in the that environment but I didn't. I was Carlton Banks/Steve Urkel growing up. That's real talk. So I asked him "So because your hustle and your grind was and is different from my hustle and grind, that makes you more "real" than me?" He said "yes" because he felt that if I was put in his situation I wouldn't make it. I told him that I felt that he was put in my situation he wouldn't make it. I said based on his mentality he wouldn't make it. I'm not knocking any kats who hustle but I seriously doubt you would hustle if you felt you didn't have to. I think that kats who hustle don't really want that lifestyle. That's just my opinion. I told him that even though I might've been nerdy kat in high school, I was cool with "hood kats", hell I cool with everybody. I hooped with them, partied with them. I let him know that REAL N.I.G.G.A in my opinion is someone who is true to themselves and keeps it real with his or herself at all times. A REAL N.I.G.G.A does him or her and will thrive in any situation. A Real N.I.G.G.A is like a chameleon, they will adapt to any situation. A REAL N.I.G.G.A. will do what needs to be done take care of business and admits when he or she is wrong.....

a real nigga aint got nun to do with bein hood bruh...i can be a college graduate n be a real nigga...be loyal...n stand up for somethin u belive in...example of gangz religions anythang u represent bruh..the phrase originated from the hood doe...true real loyal proud
I'm what the hood might consider a straight lace dude, but it bothers me when people think I'm green or square, I carry myself like a gentleman clean cut and all, I am from the hood but you might not know that by how I speak.
I think a real nigga is one who is in touch with himself the good and the bad, a real nigga respects the truth and never stops trying to do the right thing, a real nigga knows that there is no need to hate and even when he's scared to death, a real nigga gon' face what he gotta face
